National Child Day

Today, November 20th, is National Child Day in Canada. On this day we celebrate the rights of every child across the globe and encouraging children to become active citizens in their communities. National Child Day was started in 1993 and is committed to promoting the UN’s Rights of the Child.  Unicef Canada has created a child-friendly version of the “Rights of the Child” that we hope you share with the children in your lives and encourage them to enjoy the rights and freedoms they are entitled to.
