Complete 5 Mind Benders

Challenge your brain with a “mind bender.”  Brain training is an important part of your overall health and the “use it or lose it” principle applies.  You need to ensure as you age that you are keeping your mind stimulated and active.  One way to achieve this is through completing riddles, puzzles, word games and mind benders on a regular basis.  So, give these a try and stay sharp!

Mind Bender #1

What makes this number unique — 8,549,176,320?

It’s the only number that has all the digits arranged in alphabetical order.

Mind Bender #2

Solve the following:

1. Flip Flops
2. Chicken Dinner
3. Blue in the Face
4. The Last Straw
5. The First Noel
6. Cabin by the Lake

Mind Bender #3

A man stands on one side of a river, his dog on the other. The man calls his dog, who immediately crosses the river without getting wet and without using a bridge or a boat. How did the dog do it?

The river was frozen.

Mind Bender #4

Move only one stick to make this equation true:

Mind Bender #5

It is greater than God and more evil than the devil. The poor have it, the rich need it and if you eat it you’ll die. What is it?

Nothing.
